Comb Square is one of our most popular combs – precisely because it combines beauty, strength, and gentleness. Horn and hair are made from the same material, keratin, which makes the comb especially gentle and healthy for the hair. It’s perfect for combing through both curly and straight hair, and thanks to its solid quality, it can be kept in a bag without the teeth getting damaged.

All items are produced in Hornvarefabrikken’s workshops using the methods and proud traditions that our entire production is based on.

PLEASE NOTE:
Horn is not flat – it is round, curved, and twisted. When we make a flat piece of horn, we use heat to change the horn’s natural shape. When horn is exposed to heat – e.g. sunlight, drying out, or even room temperature – it may begin to return to its original form. This means it can start to bend and curve slightly.

About 10% of our flattened horn products will regain a natural, slight curve within one year. This is a natural process that does not affect the function of the product. It is not a flaw but a natural characteristic of the material – and proof that you are dealing with a genuine, living material.
