2026 Bird Hanging is the bird of the year. Every year, Sara creates a new Year Bird, and this year’s design depicts a swallow. You can hang the swallow on a branch, in the window, or in our hanging decoration/mobile.

With our Year Birds, I have revived an old tradition of making birds out of horn. The first bird was designed by the founder of Hornvarefabrikken, Peder Husted, who in the 1950s created a penguin. Since then, a turtledove, a dove of peace, and the 2026 Year Bird have followed, where I have taken inspiration from a swallow.
